Shakib Al Hasan, wife blessed with a baby girl

World’s top all-rounder Shakib al Hasan is blessed with a daughter. Shakib’s wife Umme Ahmed Shishir gave birth to a baby girl at a hospital in the United States around4:00am (New York time). The Bangladesh national cricket team’s vice captain has in the USA on Sunday midnight to be with his wife for the birth of their first child. Shakib, the world’s No 1 all-rounder, starred in Bangladesh’s 145-run win in the first one-day international in Dhaka grabbing 5-47, his maiden five-wicket haul in ODIs.
The 28-year-old, who has 206 wickets in 157 ODIs, is just one wicket shy of joining fellow left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak as the country’s leading wicket-taker in the 50-over format.
Bangladesh cricketer Shakib Al Hasan was on Monday blessed with a beautiful gift as wife Umme Ahmed Shishir delivered the baby girl.
According to a report in the Daily Star, the delivery happened at around 2:00am (Bangladesh time) in the United States.

The star all-rounder is believed to have reached New York and is now with his family.
The left-hander will not be part of the remainder of the Zimbabwe tour.
